We are pleased to announce that our next Sonance event will now be held at Cell 200. A great little venue that is the annex club to the excellent Egg London, it was formerly the Apothecary but you wouldn’t recognise it now with its stripped back industrial feel – our own little private warehouse! This does involve a change in date to 4th May but we think you’ll agree the great venue, Funktion One sound system, and industrial ambience is worth a little upheaval.
We'll continue with our aim to bring you recognised techno artists from around the world, this time featuring very special guests Ghost in the Machine from Holland for a very rare UK set.
Ghost in the Machine
Frank Nitzinsky and Nils van Lingen's Ghost In The Machine project started out as little more than a name the two DJs used when playing oldschool acid sets together. In 2016 the two discovered that they had both developed a desire to take their project far beyond the occasional DJ set. The duo made short work of their new mission and 2016 saw the release of their first records on the newly minted industrial techno vinyl imprint Genosha Basic. Their fresh take on techno and their razor sharp production swiftly garnered them support from some of the leading names in the harder recesses of techno and ultimately culminated in Ghost In The Machine being added to the roster of Perc Trax.
Matt Church & DJ Forth
Providing support will be Matt Church & DJ Forth. Matt is one of the main men involved in running Sonance and has run many parties in London over the years, including Swamp, System Free and Puzzle Project. He'll be teaming up on the night with DJ Forth, a veteran of the London scene who has brought his energetic techno sets to a range of parties including Zoology and Alumni.
Residents: B.S.E & Paul Z
Joining them are two of our residents B.S.E and Paul Z. You'll recognise B.S.E from the London scene, he's been around for over 15 years playing his techno trade around various parties including the seminal Zoology at the legendary club 414 in Brixton.
Paul has played around London for a number of years, also gracing the decks in his home country of Scotland, and brings his own ferocious beats to the Cell 200 floor.
