The time has flown by, but we’re now one year on from the first Sonance party and we’re very proud to present our First Birthday event, with a line-up of groundbreaking techno from the harder end of the spectrum.

Our aim has always been to bring artists to London that you rarely see in the city, and for our headliner we have a very special guest indeed.

Lars Huismann

Lars Huismann

Lars Huismann first came to our attention 2-3 years ago with his releases on Animal Farm and Wunderblock, and since then he has released a string of consistently excellent productions. Solid, pounding, heavy techno – exactly what we love. With further releases imminent on Pls.Uk and Voxnox Records as well as many more in the next few months, we thought this was an ideal time to bring Lars to the UK for the very first time. With a full 2 hours of his live set featuring on the night, we cannot wait.

Theo Nasa

Theo Nasa

For us it’s not just about holding parties, but also supporting other techno events in the capital. Doing so has allowed us to hear some extremely talented local DJs and for this party we are joined by Theo Nasa. Having heard him several times at the excellent Black88 parties, we’ve been hugely impressed and are very happy to welcome him to his first set at Sonance.

Residents: B.S.E, Matt Church, & Paul Z

Joining them are three of our residents B.S.E, Matt Church and Paul Z.

You'll recognise B.S.E from the London scene, he's been around for over 15 years playing his techno trade around various parties including the seminal Zoology at the legendary club 414 in Brixton.

Matt Church

Matt Church comes to you with over 25 years experience as a DJ and with a range and versatility that puts many modern DJs in the shade. Playing in clubs, bars and on the radio, Matt is also an accomplished producer, promoter, Record Label boss and Record Shop owner!

Paul Z

Paul Z has played around London for a number of years, also gracing the decks in his home country of Scotland, and brings his own ferocious beats to the Cell 200 floor.
